A workshop on “The New Education Policy” was organized by Mr. Sanjay Tomar Chairman of Holy Public Group of Schools on 8th May 2022 at Holy Public School ,Agra. The Key Note Speaker of the workshop was Mr. Anurag Tripathi, Hon’ble CBSE Secretary. The workshop was organized for proper information about the changes made in the education system .The workshop was inaugurated by CBSE Secretary Mr.Anurag Tripathi, CBSE City Coordinator, Mr.Ramanand Chauhan, Chairman of the School, Mr.Sanjay Tomar, Director, Mr.Shammi Tomar, Co-Director, Ms.Shivika Tomar, Principal Dr. Garima Yadav, lit the lamp in front of Maa Saraswati. In the beginning Ganesh Vandana was presented by the students of the school.
CBSE Secretary and keynote speaker, Shri Anurag Tripathi said that the aim of the new education policy is not just to impart knowledge, but to provide such education so that a good human being can be made because we give knowledge to the students but do not teach its uses. Today there is a need for project, activity and assignment based education for the students. According to a survey, 80 percent of the students get education but their education is not employable. This will be possible only when the students learn and imbibe it, makes new experiments and new constructions in that direction. It has been decided to conduct the board exams again in a single term. Now the 10th and 12th examinations will not be conducted in two terms but in one term.
In this workshop, Principals of about 400 schools who came from Agra Circle and Firozabad, Shikohabad, Mathura districts outside Agra participated. The workshop was conducted by Ms.Harsha Sharma and the vote of thanks was given by the chairman of the school, Mr.Sanjay Tomar. On this occasion, the chairman of the school, Mr.Sanjay Tomar, Director Mr.Shammi Tomar, Co-director Ms.Shivika Tomar, City Coordinator Ms.Richa Sharma and all the teachers were present.
